Of all the different types of motocross gear you can own, an Enduro Jacket can service a number of purposes. This type of jacket is a necessity for many types of racers.

Enduro Jackets are used by rally riders who plan to be on a course for hours at a time great distances from help. An Enduro Jacket can help hold tools, supplies, and snacks for a rider who doesn’t plan to return to camp anytime soon.

Enduro Jackets also protect a rider from weather. The right motocross jacket can keep a rider dry and warm when the weather does not want to cooperate with his ride.

Most Enduro Jackets are adjustable. They have removable joint protection and removable sections that can reduce the insulation of a riders heat. An Enduro Jacket is motocross apparel with a purpose.

When purchasing an Enduro Jacket from your local store or an on-line distributor, remember the importance of getting the right size. There are some size differences from brand to brand.

Some jackets will have removable liners on the inside which causes the size to vary from normal. Some jackets will have shoulder pads, elbow pads, and forearm protection. Some parts of the protection may be removable, again adjusting the size. You may also plan on filling the pockets with tools and additional supplies. If so, the jacket’s durability cannot be in question. Do your research before making your purchase.

The Baja 1000 started in 1967 and has become a world wide event. Participants come from all over the world to try their hand at navigating the Baja California terrain.

The Baja is not always 1000 miles of competition. Depending on which route is used the mileage of the race can vary. There are 7 classes of motorcycles and 2 classes of ATVs. Factory backed teams have chase vehicles and helicopters to run support. If you are an independent rider, you’ll need to pack your enduro jacket full of tools and supplies. There will be little help in the Baja for mechanical problems. Preparation is a must, proper navigation is critical. The Baja 1000 is a must do for serious racers just like Pikes Peak and The Dakar Rally

In the continuous hunt for speed thrills, take a look at Rally Racing. Rally Racing can take place on dirt, tarmac, snow, mud, gravel, well just about anywhere. The versatility of the car driven in a rally is key. Most rally cars a all wheel drive but front wheel drive is also very competitive.

Much like supermoto rally cars can be on different surfaces during the same run. For example a stage run may start on dirt and end on gravel. Rally cars reach high speeds on unpredictable terrain. A co-driver navigates and gives instructions to the driver on what type, and speed the next corner is allowing the driver to adjust. Rally can be very exciting and challenging much like motocross and supermoto. However, you will have to trade your motocross boots and enduro jackets for a nomex driving suit and nomex shoes.

Rally maybe the best form of motorsports your not watching.
